Braille Conversion from E-File.This type of service applies if you have an available electronic file saved on any of the following formats or ending in any of the following extensions: PDF, Word, Simple Text and Rich Text. PRICING & TURNAROUND TIMES
Transcribing/embossing process.Turn-around time for any project will be depend on the need and volume of the project.
Large Transcribing Projects.Transcribing any large project from scratch that need more than 2 copies has a one-time format and transcribing fee as follows:
From 50-250 print pages = $125 fee
From 251-500 print pages = $250 fee
Conversion.Conversion from an electronic file can cost less. Cost of complex material will vary. A Literary textbook will range from $1.50 to $3.50 depends on format and code application. Math textbook can range from $3.50 to $5.50 depends on grade level, graphics, format and code application.
Transcribing. Transcribing a letter or simple document format, one-to-four (1-4) braille pages cost $15; Five to ten (5-10) braille pages cost $25 plus applicable taxes. Black ink dots or inkprint font can range from $25 to $50 per page.
Foreign Language. Please allow us one week to provide Services that require foreign language expertise as costs depends on the availability of a transcriber and translator.
Tactile Graphics.Costing for tactile graphics ranges from $3 to $7.00 per braille page
Production.The production of copies such as embossing will range from $0.25 cents to $0.35 cents per braille page.
Cover/Binding.We use maroon flexi-grain (vinyl look) and glosskote or clear plastic covers. A 9-inch ring maroon or white plastic. Each cover will come with a braille and print cover. Any preference on cover and binding should be ordered one week ahead of time.
